I sigh inaudibly, and stare at the window letting in dim grey light; my head fixed in place, unable to turn to view the sole inhabitant of the room. Leaning forward out of the darkness surrounding my desk, I am aware of my own complete lack of movement, as I always am. Sometimes I wonder if it is odd to move, or odd to not. You always do, but my neck can only bend at someone else's will.
At least... at the best of times, that is true. But on days like these, when the shadows fill both your room, and your mind - from being bent this way and that by others - then, you cease to move.
Then I wonder at how uncaring and cold what little light tha

A one-time art dabbler who realised that creating is like breathing (it comes naturally and it's necessary) on the journey of gradually building up my skills.
I am processing my grief through personal art. Loss is heavy, and ink on paper helps.

Heellooo dA... nice to be seeing you again. It's been a while. I hope nothing too unpleasant or exciting happened to you while I was away, like choking on your tea by accident. But even if it did, I come bearing good news!
... I think.
Well actually I do. Aside from the fact that this keyboard is making me realise the necessity of refreshing my typing skills (I've written a few words backwards), I'm getting around to focusing some of my time back onto film and art! Which is fun! Life, eh? Throws you around like spinach in a salad dryer for a while, and then you have to find your feet and get back to all the things you've been neglecting for
Yay, my old laptop has started to show it's age and crash intermittently. So now I'm using a desktop PC that's WAY more powerful. It was amazing when I started PS earlier and it loaded in a second. I mean, it would have been a very quick load up time on my laptop if it managed to get PS going in 10 seconds. The only problem is that the monitor is far too bright and quite trying to use for extended, or even short, periods of time. So I'll have to go on the hunt for a new one! But it will be fun to see what I can do on here.
