Getting back on track

Heellooo dA... nice to be seeing you again. It's been a while. I hope nothing too unpleasant or exciting happened to you while I was away, like choking on your tea by accident. But even if it did, I come bearing good news!

... I think.

Well actually I do. Aside from the fact that this keyboard is making me realise the necessity of refreshing my typing skills (I've written a few words backwards), I'm getting around to focusing some of my time back onto film and art! Which is fun! Life, eh? Throws you around like spinach in a salad dryer for a while, and then you have to find your feet and get back to all the things you've been neglecting for ages. Like uploading my newer contour drawings to dA and actually getting around to following that colour pencil tutorial.

I'm also in the market for a new laptop now, but I think I've realised that I need to look for one that's just for "casual" use; id est, web-browsing, listening to music, writing, watching films, etc. I'm not willing to fork out for a specialised laptop that would have to be massively powerful in order to actually get anything done. You'd be better off going for a desktop at that kind of price range. So yes! Laptop hunting here I go.. It's a wee bit head-scratchy, and I'm concerned about whatever I chose dying very quickly. We'll see. Hopefully that won't happen.
